Mattel asked us to leverage our retail experience, combined with shopper insight marketing studies, to develop a merchandising concept that presents the dolls in an out-of-box, branded environment. During the brainstorming of the project, and taking into account the parameters supplied by the customer, we were able to come up with a school gym presentation.


Too often, POP adds bells and whistles just because they are available. With the execution of the light strip “lightning” flashes coupled with the audio, the display is visually interesting without being over the top. The bright white LED board helps accentuate the bright and vibrant colors of the boys and “ghouls” clothing and accessories.


The brand has received additional press through consumer posted videos featuring the display. One “YouTuber” fan of the display has received over 50,000 hits with their video.
