DEWALT® was in the process of introducing an innovative new line of cordless power tools and was in need of an impactful display that would create awareness around the entire FLEXVOLT™ line at The Home Depot.
We were asked to create a dynamic end cap display, which would encourage customer interaction, facilitate product learning while maintaining security with the 7 different new tools being featured. This new product line and launch was to be the most important campaigns in the last decade for DEWALT®.
The highly impactful end cap display incorporates a multitude of unique and interesting features promoting shopper interaction and learning. The kiosk features a 13” 720HD LCD screen with 8 buttons intended to engage and educate shoppers about this innovative line of cordless tools. Products were available for shopper handling, yet secured with tethers and custom engineered anti-theft protection for the batteries without sacrificing the brand image or the ergonomics of the tools.
DEWALT® and The Home Depot hit a home run with the FLEXVOLT™ display and the tremendous impact it generated at retail. The PVC foam graphics, vacuum formed giant replica of a FLEXVOLT™ battery and the interactive kiosk have been a big hit at The Home Depot and have helped DEWALT ® exceed sales forecasts very early in the launch.
